The UK may experience bracing itself for a possible onslaught of thunderstorms over the nation in the coming week. The National Meteorological Centre put out an alert for torrential showers and strong winds, with some areas at risk of flash floods. Residents are advised to take shelter during height of the thunderstorms, and steer clear of trees.
